Jean-Baptiste Dandoy was a craft baker. In 1829 he opened his first store in the heart of Brussels. In 1858 the business moved to Boterstraat: the start of a success story. Jean-Baptiste lovingly teaches his son Philippe the art of baking cookies. More than 150 years later, butter and sugar are still waving, under the approving eye of Sinterklaas.
