A while ago I received this a glitter package full of make-up from the brand Dr. Hauschka. Before they approached me, I have to be honest and admit that I’d never heard of the brand. So I did my research.

Our raw materials come almost exclusively from controlled organic cultivation, biodynamic cultivation or Fair Trade projects. We think and work in closed cycles – for example in the water supply, in recyclable packaging material and in compost waste after a production process. We spare resources where possible: we use certified green electricity, do heat recovery and use the temperature of the earth for climate control. The earth must be regarded as a complex organism, in which various cycles pass through.

 

After seeing that they are eco-friendly and work with organic sources, I was sold. As I like to know what I’m putting on my face and seeing that a business is committed to the environment, lights up my heart. Nothing better then healthy products produced on an ecological way. So I agreed to test their limited “Purple Light” collection.

 

Teint Powder 01 

This powder provides an even skin tone and a slightly shimmering complexion. The balanced color combination perfectly matches every skin color. As de powder is composed of minerals and beneficial plants, it nourishes the skin without irritating it.

Liquid Lip Colour 01

This gloss gives a smooth feeling and a beautiful color. Mineral pigments and beneficial plant extracts such as clover, mango butter and sea buckthorn oil regulate the moisture content for soft lips. Perfect for an nude look. The gloss doesn’t dry it, nourishes your lips. Gives a very natural allure to your look and feels as you’re not wearing male-up, very light!

Liquid Lip Colour 2

Beside the number 01, I also received the 02. This one is a bit more flashy and more suitable for a night out. The color really pops out, so it’s nice to have the two glosses. For a day and night look!

Eyeshadow Palet 01

This contains two matte velvety and two silky shimmering shades of color for different applications. Composition of mineral pigments and extracts of beneficial plants, in particular of black tea and silk. Provides the delicate skin around the eyes. What I like about these products is that beside the make-up part it also nourishes and feeds your skins. So a two-in-one package.

Eye Definer 07

The smooth texture of the Eye Definer is easy to apply and blend – for naturally defined contours. The mild formulation with mineral pigments and extracts of beneficial plants, in particular of clover and of quince wax and shea butter, cares for the skin around the eyes and makes it supple. I’m not really an eye-line fan as it hard to apply and it can ruin my whole look, if it’s not well applied but this one is different. When you apply your eyeliner you can blend it with brush on the other side and it gives an natural, je-ne-sais-quoi touch to your look!
